Jerilyn Chuman ScholarshipEstablished to honor Jerilyn's retirement in 2015, and her 25 years of leadership as Dean of Counseling at Saddleback College. This scholarship will be awarded to a single-parent with an academic interest in Counseling or Psychology. John Flood Endowed ScholarshipDr. John Flood was hired in August of 1968 as the first coordinator of Counseling and Guidance (later to become Associate Dean of Students). In his memory, a scholarship was established to recognise a student pursuing a degree in counselling or social service. Extended Opportunity Programs and Services ScholarshipProviding access and retention services to low-income and ethnic minority students, EOPS offers a scholarship to students who participate in the EOPS program. ASG Earn it and Learn it (Full Time and Part Time)Honoring a student-employee at the college who has maintained an exemplary academic record. Gary Stakan Memorial Osher Endowed ScholarshipThis scholarship was created by Gary's son, Scott, along with Gary's colleagues in Counseling Services. The award recognises his incredible 40 years as a teacher, administrator and counselor. The award will be presented to a student seeking a future career in education, either teaching or counselling. ASG Single Parent ScholarshipThis award is presented to a student in pursuit of a college education. Palmia Women's Issues ScholarshipPalmia Women's Issues Group is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of providing a forum for the interchange of information regarding women's issues. It provides an opportunity for women to gather, relate to one another, and support women in need.
